Edgardo Cozarinsky Edgardo Cozarinsky

Edgardo Cozarinsky was born in Buenos Aires in 1939 and divides his time between Argentina and Paris. Best known for his subtle, semi-documentary films (including Rothschild’s Violin) and his biographical documentaries for French television, he is also the author of essays and two short story collections, The Bride From Odessa and Urban Voodoo.

His new novel, The Moldavian Pimp (Collins Harvill), is set among Jewish immigrants in Buenos Aires in the 1920s. He will sign copies of it in the IFI bookshop after the event.
